Sarah Cogley is an Irish artist based in rural Co.Wexford. She studied Fine Art at Technological University Dublin (TUD). She is a recipient of ‘Breaking the Patterns Vol.2’ (Creative Europe, Arts Council of Ireland, Artlinks, County Wexford Arts Department, LAB Sevilla and Capacity Ireland), where she completed a three month residency in Seville, Spain (2024).

Written narratives inform archaeological inspired installations which use imagery depicting ancient remnants from Ireland and across Europe. With a foundation in ancient techniques, the work acts as a portal, drawing connections between past and present while looking at indigenous culture, ancestral heritage, and anthropogenic landscapes while questioning the human desire for legacy and land ownership.

Recent exhibitions include ‘Breaking the Patterns’ at Cowshed Gallery, Farmleigh, Co. Dublin curated by Roisin Foley (2025), ‘Hidden Worlds’ at Westgate Heritage Centre, Co.Wexford in collaboration with Wexford Arts Centre curated by Eamonn Maxwell (2024) and ‘Breaking the Patterns Vol.2’ at Antiquarium Seville, Spain (2024)
